3.1 Multi-Day Workshops and Intensive Programs
Full Refund (100%):
- Cancellation 30+ days before program start date
- Program cancelled by WildHarvest Canada
- Medical emergency with doctor's note
Partial Refund (75%):
- Cancellation 15-29 days before program start date
- Family emergency with documentation
Partial Refund (50%):
- Cancellation 7-14 days before program start date
- Transfer to another participant (with approval)
No Refund:
- Cancellation less than 7 days before program start
- No-show without prior notification
- Dismissal from program due to safety violations
3.2 Single-Day Workshops
Full Refund (100%):
- Cancellation 14+ days before workshop date
- Workshop cancelled due to weather or safety concerns
- Minimum enrollment not met
Partial Refund (50%):
- Cancellation 3-13 days before workshop date
- Medical emergency with documentation
No Refund:
- Cancellation less than 3 days before workshop
- No-show without notification
3.3 Private Consultations
Full Refund (100%):
- Cancellation 48+ hours before scheduled consultation
- Technical issues preventing consultation delivery
No Refund:
- Cancellation less than 48 hours before consultation
- Client technical difficulties (unless consultation cannot proceed)
3.4 Online Courses and Digital Materials
Full Refund (100%):
- Technical issues preventing course access within 7 days of purchase
- Course content significantly different from description
Partial Refund (Pro-rated):
- Request within 14 days of purchase with less than 25% completion
- Course discontinuation by WildHarvest Canada
No Refund:
- Completion of more than 25% of course content
- Request made more than 30 days after purchase
- Downloaded materials (unless technical defects)
4. Weather and Seasonal Considerations
4.1 Weather-Related Cancellations
Given the outdoor nature of our programs, weather can impact activities:
- Severe Weather: Full refund or reschedule option if we cancel due to dangerous conditions
- Light Rain/Snow: Programs typically proceed with appropriate gear recommendations
- Seasonal Changes: Programs adapt to seasonal conditions; refunds not provided for natural seasonal variations
4.2 Seasonal Availability
Some programs are season-specific. If target plants/conditions are unavailable:
- Alternative educational content will be provided
- Full refund offered if program cannot deliver core learning objectives
- Rescheduling to appropriate season offered when possible
5. Medical and Emergency Situations
5.1 Medical Emergencies
We understand that medical situations can arise unexpectedly:
- Doctor's note required for medical-related refunds
- Full refund provided for documented medical emergencies
- Partial refund considered for family medical emergencies
- Pregnancy-related cancellations treated as medical situations
5.2 Travel Restrictions
If government restrictions prevent participation:
- Full refund or credit toward future programs
- Virtual alternative offered when possible
