Preserving Canada's Foraging Heritage

WildHarvest Canada was founded on the belief that everyone should have access to nature's abundant gifts while respecting and preserving our ecosystems for future generations.

Our Story

Founded in 2018 by a team of passionate botanists, indigenous knowledge keepers, and sustainable living advocates, WildHarvest Canada emerged from a shared concern about the disconnect between modern Canadians and their natural food sources.

Our journey began when our founders noticed that traditional foraging knowledge was being lost across Canadian communities. They recognized the need to bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and modern sustainability practices, creating educational programs that honor both Indigenous traditions and contemporary conservation science.

Today, we're proud to serve foragers across all provinces and territories, offering comprehensive education that respects the land, promotes sustainable practices, and celebrates Canada's incredible biodiversity.
